Dan & Peggy Reeder Asheville Concert reviews
The Used Concert at Show Box SODO
Here is the rearranged review with a few words switched:
Dan & Peggy Reeder is a great band with great music. The show was cool with lots of energy. The venue was perfect for this kind of show and music. It was a little cold standing outside but parking was cool and we met some cool people from Canada in line. I like to share the + and - parts of any event, so here goes. It was my sons birthday and he had the time of his life. The lighting had these annoying bright lights facing toward the crowd and the lighting engineer used them constantly. The audio quality of the sound system left much to be desired and not up to the bands quality of their albums. I have been a professional musician and audio engineer for 30 years. Lame. Much of the time the lead vocal was buried. The sound engineer didn't even get the lead vocal in the mix until 8 bars into the first song. I know, I know, I'm an old fuddy duddy. But I like a good light show. What about colored pars, spots, lasers or gobos? However, the opening video was great! The two opening bands were young and inexperienced. Overall I still had a good time and "Dan & Peggy Reeder" is loaded with talented seasoned musicians and good music which more than made up for the poor technical support they got.
